- Reviewer
- Richard Jones
- Summary
- It begins with a long introduction into the pagan religions that were extant at the time Christianity was founded or which had preceded the founding of Christianity. The author does not recognize the guidance from the Holy Spirit which the apostles had and assumes that they were influenced primarily by the social forces around them. I was very disappointed in this book, having read Eusebius’s book, History of Christianity as well as other church histories.
- Recommendation
- Don’t read it.
